Differences between protocol and review

The outcomes have been divided into primary and secondary outcomes and ordered by clinical importance. The re‐transplantation and graft rejection outcomes have now been defined clearer, ie, as those occurring after the start of therapy. Liver decompensation has been added to the primary outcomes, as this is an important clinical outcome that can be influenced by treatment. The methods of assessing the risk of bias in the different trials have been revised according to the updated version of the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions (Higgins 2009). Methods for obtaining information on hazard ratio have been clearly stated.
