A.P.R. Wilson is a consultant microbiologist in the NHS advising on antibiotic use and advises some private hospitals on infection control. He is a member of a clinical trial drug safety monitoring board for a monoclonal antibody. He has been an expert witness in infection related cases. He has a number of non‐commercial grants for research in the area of transmission of infection. A.P.R. Wilson was part funded by the UCLH/UCL Comprehensive Biomedical Centre with funding from the Department of Health's NIHR Biomedical Research Centres.
