Notes

The review was part of the protocol Interventions for hyperuricemia gout (Schlesinger N, Baker DDB, Schumacher R. Interventions for hyperuricemia gout. Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews 1997 , Issue 3 . Art. No.: CD000462. DOI: 10.1002/14651858.CD000462.pub2) which was withdrawn in August 2004.

The lead author Naomi Schlesinger requested its withdrawal because it was out of date (had been on the Library since 1997) and they had decided to do separate reviews on the various interventions.

PICO

Population
Intervention
Comparison
Outcome
