This work was as an expert of the University of KwaZulu‐Natal with a PhD in emergency systems development and disaster medicine. He has received speaker invitations to various national or international meetings or courses as an invited plenary speaker and the inviting organisations have funded some or all of his expenses as their guest. For most of these activities there was little profit and the activities are at most peripherally related to the work contained in this Cochrane EPOC review.
