Differences between protocol and review

We did not attempt the data collection and analysis and 'Summary of findings' table, as no study met the inclusion criteria. We decided to describe the process of different aspects of data collection and analysis in the present review, as it will be updated regularly and the full protocol may not be easily accessible to all users of this evidence.

El uso y la enseñanza del modelo PICO están muy extendidos en el ámbito de la atención sanitaria basada en la evidencia para formular preguntas y estrategias de búsqueda y para caracterizar estudios o metanálisis clínicos. PICO son las siglas en inglés de cuatro posibles componentes de una pregunta de investigación: paciente, población o problema; intervención; comparación; desenlace (outcome).
