Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:

The objective is to examine the efficacy and adverse reactions of beta blockers used to treat in terms of control of essential tremor.

We will test the following hypotheses.
1. Beta blocker is more effective in controlling essential tremor than placebo treatment.
2. Beta blocker is more effective in controlling essential tremor than no treatment.
3. Beta blocker is more effective in controlling essential tremor than other drugs for essential tremor .
4. One beta blocker is more effective in controlling essential tremor than another

5. A high dose is more effective in controlling essential tremor than low dose.
