Differences between protocol and review

  • We included our outcome 'Intra‐operative and postoperative complications' under 'Adverse events'. We also changed our outcome 'One‐, three‐, and five‐year overall survival' into 'One‐, three‐, and five‐year all‐cause mortality'.

  • We included baseline imbalance, early stopping, funding bias, academic bias under other sources of bias.
