Antibiotic regimens for the empirical treatment of newborn infants with necrotizing enterocolitis
Abstract
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:
To compare the efficacy of different antibiotic regimens (antibiotic monotherapies, monotherapy with combination therapy and combination therapies) on mortality and the need for surgery in the empirical treatment of neonates with necrotizing enterocolitis.
