Abstract
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:
1. To assess the efficacy of probiotics for the maintenance of remission in UC.
2. To assess the occurrence of adverse events associated with the use of probiotics for maintaining remission in UC.
