Differences between protocol and review

We did not specify severe trachoma among cases of active trachoma as an outcome in the protocol for this review (Ejere 2002). However, one of the two trials that met the inclusion criteria defined and reported this outcome; thus, we have included these results.

We revised the searches of electronic databases to include PubMed and the International Clinical Trials Registry Platform, which had not originally been searched.
