The 'Methods of vascular occlusion for elective liver resections' review is withdrawn with Issue 1, 2009 of the Cochrane Library because of the large volume of information it contained. The review is split into three new reviews, ie, 'Ischaemic pre‐conditioning for liver resections performed under vascular occlusion'; Vascular occlusion for liver resections', and 'Methods of vascular occlusion for elective liver resections'. The present reviews are also updated and are published in Issue 1 2009 of The Cochrane Library.
