Jean Claude Raphael was the coordinator of one of the studies included in the review. This study has shown that Duchenne muscular dystrophy with no sign of chronic hypoventilation may not benefit from nocturnal nasal intermittent positive ventilation.

PICO son las siglas en inglés de cuatro posibles componentes de una pregunta de investigación: paciente, población o problema; intervención; comparación; desenlace (outcome).
