This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:

Primary objective

To determine the efficacy and safety of PGI₂ and its analogues (iloprost, treprostinil, and beraprost) in decreasing mortality and need for ECMO in neonates with PH.

Secondary objectives

To determine the efficacy and safety of PGI₂ and its analogues (iloprost, treprostinil, and beraprost) in decreasing neonatal morbidity (necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), chronic lung disease (CLD), retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), neurodevelopmental outcomes, intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH), periventricular leukomalacia (PVL), length of hospital stay, and duration of mechanical ventilation) in neonates with PH.
