This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:

To evaluate the effectiveness and tolerability of dietary intervention with the ketogenic diet (KD) for the management of brain and spinal cord tumours, including the effect on brain‐tumour related epilepsy.
