Abstract
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:
To assess the effects of different platelet transfusion thresholds prior to the insertion of a lumbar puncture or epidural anaesthesia in people with thrombocytopenia (low platelet count).
