This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:
The objective of this review will be to assess the efficacy and safety of new oral anticoagulants including direct Xa inhibitors such as dabigatran, apixaban, rivaroxaban and edoxaban versus warfarin for atrial fibrillation among people with CKD.
