This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:

The aim of this review is to assess the effectiveness and safety of different antibiotic strategies in CF patients experiencing an exacerbation, who are also infected with organisms of the Bcc. This will cover only those receiving treatment for an exacerbation of pulmonary symptoms, either diagnosed by the attending clinician or by pre‐defined objective criteria, but not those receiving elective eradication therapy (which is the subject of a separate Cochrane review currently underway).
