Flexible working conditions and their effects on employee health and wellbeing
Abstract
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:
The main review objective is to evaluate the effects (benefits and harms) of flexible working interventions on the physical and mental health and wellbeing of employees and their families.
The secondary objectives are a) to compare whether there are any differential effects on physical and mental health and wellbeing in terms of job type, gender, age, ethnicity or socioeconomic status; and b) to examine how flexible working arrangements impact on the social wellbeing and work‐life balance of employees and their families.
