This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:

The objective of the review is to determine whether home uterine activity monitoring is effective in improving the outcomes for women and their infants considered to be at high risk of preterm birth when compared with conventional or other care packages which do not include home uterine monitoring.
