This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:

(1) To see if antiepileptics are effective in preventing seizures in people with brain tumors who have no seizure history.
(2) To estimate the adverse event rate from prophylactic antiepileptic drugs.
