Abstract
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:
The objective of this review is to identify, and assess the effects of, interventions that seek to improve people's understanding of screening and the results of the screening process, or aim to minimise the anxiety or distress associated with screening.
