Notes

After the initial publication of this protocol, a change was made to the selection criterion Types of Studies. Preliminary searching indicated that the number of randomised controlled trials potentially eligible for inclusion in this review was much larger than anticipated, thereby removing the need to examine lower quality studies. The Criteria for Considering Studies for this Review/Types of Studies section was amended to include only randomised controlled trials (and excluding quasi‐randomised trials, controlled before‐and‐after studies (CBAs) and interrupted time series (ITS) analyses).
